Welcome to Chicago! The city of Big Shoulders welcomes you to its beautiful, world-class downtown. We are happy you are here with us. Not far from here is where one of our predecessor unions was founded (ACW) and where the fight for the 8-hour workday began.

Chicago is a proud Union Town. We are happy to be holding our convention at a Union hotel, where everyone you will meet belongs to a Union. So, let's not forget to thank a Union member this week.
